Most recently, local news coverage on KTHV-11 in Little Rock, discussed the large retailer options of valuing Little Rock as a commercial real estate destination opportunity. It appears that there is enough demand for the big box stores i.e. Macy’s, Ikea, and Trader Joe’s, however the decision largely rests on the formula that retailers use for determining the choice locations.  That comes down to minimum space requirements, demographics, and ultimately cost factors.  With limited commercial space available, those choice spots are quite valuable.  The growth in the Central Arkansas communities is spurring demand for name brand retailers perhaps also increasing the online shopping experience for many if those stores do not decide to come.  Visit Rees Commercial at: for more local commercial real estate news and opportunities.

“I rented from John Rees, Sr. and his son John Aaron Rees, Jr. for 8 years. John Aaron is a sweet, intelligent, caring young man and he never hesitates to let you know that he cares. John Sr. stays busy with his properties so you don’t see him very often. But, John Aaron Rees Jr. makes sure to stop by your shop when he comes to a building you rent and says hi. He always made me feel like he cared for me. In fact, they cared so much about my well-being when my illnesses took their toll they showed great compassion when I could no longer lease from them and showed great understanding.”
